As an avid outdoorsman, Mr. Fortier has always enjoyed both the symmetry and abstract nature of the natural world. The shelf he desires will consist of multiple mediums, working together to bring form and function together. We plan on creating vertical concrete supports with sliding wood (dark) shelves. To accomplish the range of motion Mr. Fortier is looking for, we have decided to integrate felt openings for ease of use and to protect the wood. We are also contemplating a restraining system consisting of wooden pegs or possibly rebar.
